Чипсет Intel Z390 придёт на смену Z370 уже в этом квартале

Первые слухи о том, что компания Intel готовит набор микросхем системной логики Intel Z390, появились довольно давно. Позже стало известно, что данный чипсет в первую очередь предназначен для работы с будущими массовыми восьмиядерными процессорами Intel, которые согласно последним данным войдут в семейство Coffee Lake Refresh.

Буквально вчера стало известно, что материнские платы на чипсете Intel Z370 всё-таки будут поддерживать работу с новыми процессорами Intel. И отсюда возникает логичный вопрос, зачем же нужен новый чипсет, если и старый способен справиться с возлагаемой на него задачей? Ответ на него нашли наши коллеги из VideoCardz, которые опубликовали слайд с так называемой «дорожной картой» настольных чипсетов Intel.

Как видно из этого изображения, уже в третьем квартале текущего года на смену Intel Z370 придёт Z390. То есть чипсеты если и будут существовать параллельно, то очень ограниченный промежуток времени, пока не будут распроданы все материнские платы на Intel Z370. Это вполне логично, ведь различий между чипсетами не так много. Самые значимые заключаются в том, что новый Intel Z390 предложит встроенный контроллер Wi-Fi и Bluetooth, а также контроллер USB 3.1.

Также стоит обратить внимание, что Intel не планирует списывать со счетов чипсет Intel X299, по крайней мере до конца первого квартала 2019 года. Это означает, что будущие HEDT-процессоры Basin Falls Refresh будут совместимы с нынешними платами, поэтому должны быть выполнены в корпусе LGA 2066. А вот продемонстрированные на Computex 2018 процессоры Cascade Lake-X придётся подождать. Или они будут существовать параллельно?

Другая «дорожная карта» демонстрирует планы компании Intel по выпуску настольных процессоров Core. Как видно, новые процессоры можно ожидать уже к четвёртому кварталу текущего года. Это совпадает с последними слухами и данными наших собственных источников. Здесь, правда, имеет место некоторое несоответствие, ведь зачем выпускать платы на Intel Z390 до выхода новых процессоров? Возможно, опубликованные слайды взяты из разных презентаций.

Z370 VS Z390: что покупать?

Intel находится в трудном положении с момента запуска Ryzen. Сочетая низкие цены и большое количество ядер, Ryzen представляет собой абсолютно потрясающую ценность и дает Intel возможность потратить свои деньги. С тех пор Intel пытается догнать своих прямых соперников. Их ответ — лучшая производительность, поддержка разгона и большее количество ядер с процессорами 8-го и 9-го поколений. Эти процессоры поддерживали только материнские платы новой серии 300 от Intel. Флагманским чипсетом 8-го поколения был Z370 (выпущен в октябре прошлого года).

Несмотря на то, что чипсет Z370 был нацелен на сборки для энтузиастов, у него было много недостатков и не хватало некоторых функций, которые беспокоили многих. Поэтому в октябре 2018 года вместе со своими новыми процессорами 9-го поколения они выпустили новый чипсет Z390 для материнских плат.

Давайте разберемся, из-за чего идет такая суета с материнскими платами Z390, и выясним, какая из них стоит ваших денег.

Z370 против Z390: основные отличия

Прежде чем мы перейдем к фактическому сравнению и основным различиям, давайте посмотрим, что осталось неизменным в обоих чипсетах. Процессоры Intel 8-го и 9-го поколения совместимы только с материнскими платами более новой серии 300 (Z390, Z370, h470, B360 и h410). Обе эти материнские платы входят в флагманскую линейку процессоров 8-го и 9-го поколений. Они определенно созданы для энтузиастов, и быстрый взгляд на цены на обе эти материнские платы убедит вас в этом.

Несмотря на то, что на данный момент это самая дорогая материнская плата со стороны Intel, Z390 не дает особой разницы в производительности по сравнению с платами Z370. Оба поддерживают разгон памяти и процессора. Результаты разгона обеих плат весьма положительны, хотя с точки зрения разгона оперативной памяти некоторые люди добились лучших результатов с материнской платой Z390. Обе платы также поддерживают Intel Optane, новое решение Intel для сверхбыстрого хранения данных.

Как объясняется в приведенном выше описании, большинство функций схожи. количество портов SATA, портов USB 3.0 и линий PCI-Express также одинаково на обеих этих платах.

Пройдя через все вышеупомянутые сходства, становится очевидным, что Z390 — это скорее обновление, чем важное обновление. Тем не менее, Z390 добавляет несколько дополнительных функций, которые мы были разочарованы отсутствием на платах Z370. Три основных обновления заключаются в следующем:

Почему стоит покупать материнскую плату Z370?

Для процессоров Intel 8-го поколения Z370 должно быть более чем достаточным для большинства пользователей. Компания Intel преподнесла сюрприз анонсом нового старшего чипсета для платформы LGA1151 — Z390. Ранее предполагалось, что данный набор системной логики дебютирует одновременно с восьмиядерными процессорами Coffee Lake-S, но затем поступили сведения о его выходе в третьем квартале. Исходя из имеющихся сведений, на выставке Computex 2018 (5–9 июня) чипмейкер подробно расскажет о возможностях микросхемы Z390, а партнёры Intel из числа производителей материнских плат представят прототипы собственных решений LGA1151/Z390. Серийные модели матплат появятся в розничной продаже не раньше второй половины июня.

На сегодняшний день известны не все характеристики Intel Z390, поскольку данный чипсет пока отсутствует в базе ark.intel.com. Тем не менее на основе имеющейся документации можно сделать ряд выводов. По сочетанию характеристик набор системной логики Z390 похож прежде всего на h470. Помимо возможностей последнего, новый флагман обладает поддержкой разгона процессоров Core i3-8350K, Core i5-8600K и Core i7-8700K посредством повышения множителя, а также увеличенным числом каналов USB 3.1 (с 4 до 6 шт.), USB 3.0 (с 8 до 10 шт.) и линий PCI Express 3.0 (с ≥20 до ≥24).

Сравнивая чипсеты Z370 и Z390, стоит выделить такие особенности «390-го», как переход на более тонкий техпроцесс выпуска (14 нм), наличие встроенных контроллеров USB 3.1 (6 каналов) и Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. Интегрированный адаптер Intel Wireless-AC 9560 отвечает требованиям стандарта 802.11 Wave 2, для которого характерны ширина канала в 160 МГц и максимальная пропускная способность в 1,73 Гбит/с. Для работы беспроводных интерфейсов либо производитель матплаты, либо пользователь должны подключить вспомогательный ИК-модуль в виде платы M.2 2216/2230 для разъёма M.2 Key E. Кроме того, поддерживается и проводная сеть 10/100/1000 Мбит/с.

Z390 составит компанию выпущенным ранее чипсетам 300-й серии

Ниже перечислены все возможности чипсета Intel Z390, включая поддержку технологий Intel Rapid Storage (RST) и Smart Sound, и SSD-накопителей Optane. Анонсы материнских плат LGA1151/Z390 вряд ли задержатся надолго — другое дело, что на прилавках соответствующие продукты появятся не ранее чем через месяц.
